Oystermouth Castle, Swansea
Majestically Located On The Hill Of Mumble, Oystermouth Offers Astonishing Views Overlooking Swansea Bay
Wales has many castles, but no one offers spectacular views as Oystermouth Castle. Castles reflect the history of the place and ancient lifestyle, but they also need the care to sustain for long years in the future. Oystermouth Castle was closed, and no visitors were allowed inside as the repairing and rebuilding work of the castle was going on. But now hidden parts of the Oystermouth castle are open, and visitors can visit even those parts that they have not explored yet. Visitors can learn and feel the history of the castle.
Ancient graffiti artwork from the 14th Century is a beautiful feature of this castle. Now, visitors can explore the deep vaults’ medieval maze. Visitors enjoy exploring the secret staircases. A 3—feet high glass bridge offers magnificent views.
Exhibitions and events attract a lot of people to the castle round the year.
